Part 2 of the voting process has completed, and we saw a significant drop in the voting, gathering just 1,957 votes. However, we still got some nice data on which QBs should be rated where. Let's start with the Tier 5 QBs.
|Rank||Quarterback||32nd Place Votes||31st Place Votes||30th Place Votes||Tier Voting Position|
Tier 5 came out nice a clean in terms of data, as each QB received at least 43% of the vote at the ranking where the wound up. Unfortunately Tier 4 was not as clean, as we wound up with 2 spots each seperated by just 9 votes. Both Mike Glennon and Cody Kessler received the most votes for the 27th ranked position. The same thing occurred at 25the between Blake Bortles and Trevor Siemian, with Siemian getting 9 more votes. In both cases, with the vote so close, I used a similar formula to the previous post whereby each vote was assigned a point value (1 point for each 29th place vote, 2 for each 28th, etc.)
|Rank||Quarterback||29th Place Votes||28th Place Votes||27th Place Votes||26th Place Votes||25th Place Votes||24th Place Votes||Tier Voting Position|
With the formula I used, Kessler edged out Glennon with a score of 5,528 to 5,366. Bortles beat out Siemian by a much closer score, 7,491 to 7,456. Also, Tyrod Taylor dominated the voting for 24th, receiving 70.16% of the total 24th place votes. With that in mind, the poll this time around will include an optional selection for where Taylor should be ranked in Tier 3. This is not required, however with so many people feeling he was underrated I thought it would be a fun exercise. With that in mind, let's move on to the links.
